[Native Americans Teaching Indigenous Values and Ethics]
Project NATIVE "Native Americans Teaching Indigenous Values and Ethics" is a series of educational program sessions designed and developed to share a Native American cultural viewpoint concerning a variety of interesting and informative topics. In each session, participants engage in “hands-on” activities and thought-provoking inquiries which offer the invitation to experience and view the world from a different perspective: “Through Native American Eyes”. Members of the Shawnee Nation, United Remnant Band share the Native concepts of respect, honor, stewardship and harmony for our Mother the Earth and all the biotic and abiotic factors interconnected with the Earth. These concepts are infused and incorporated into each of the Project NATIVE program sessions.
